SOLD TO MY WIFE FOR HER ELDERLY MOTHER FOR HOME PROTECTION. HAVE HAD MULTIPLE FALSE ALARMS BUT NO POLICE EVER SHOW UP. THEY NEVER CALLED US WHEN THE ALARM WENT OFF SO MY MOTHER IN LAW CALLED THEM. SO, WHO'S MONITORING THE SYSTEM? AFTER A YEAR OF THIS NONSENSE, WE TRIED TO CANCEL WITH ONE YEAR LEFT ON THE CONTRACT. We sold our home and moved. We kept getting an invoice. We do not have a signed contract with Safe Home. We were asked to send proof of the sale of the home, we did. No one got back to us. Never EVER sign anything with these people. Terrible service/customer service...and those are the good qualities. Immoral business practices. Inferior products. Apparently technicians are qualified sales people as well and are authorized and to write new 60 month contracts under the guise of a "protection plan". Sued SHS in small claims and prevailed. Check your state for Evergreen laws which mandate that automatic renewals illegal. After years of little to No service to fox their fire alarms, no signed contract in over 10 years, inoperable fire alarm equipment but full monthly payments demanded, ww finally received resolutions with small claims court intervention. I signed a three year contract with this company. 46 days before contract was to expire, they called me , I told the rep, I will be cancelling , I'm not renewing , she said , you need to send us a letter , I did , plus 2 emails & 3 tele. conversations. SHS..Do Not Honor verbal agreements and they lie.....I was promised 5 mths of free monitoring services under a new contract and it was not honored. Then when contacted by a manager name Rene, that promised to clear up the situation and honor the 5 free monitoring service, he was not a man of his word. Add my complaint to the others who cannot cancel their services with Safe Home Security. On top of not being able to cancel I also have no connectivity to their equipment, and when I inquired about this I was quickly told it was not their responsibility to ensure their equipment was connected to my equipment but the other way round.
