I was also with the previous company when safe took over same horrible service the made me go into and extended contract with promises of better service and equipment I have paid so many fines in false alarm to my police department that when the police come they just smile and say again. I have had a total of maybe 6 moths of service since 2011 and 1 broken sliding door by their tech visit... Read more

I was with a previous company and it was bought by Safe Security. There was a 6 month period I couldn't use my security system because they wouldn't send a technician to install a new sensor. 1. I was locked into a 5 year contract with SHS and their service was appalling and they would not let me out of the contract . 2. On 2 occasions it set off an alarm WITHOUT ANY INTERVENTION by anyone and the police showed up at my door. I am another up set customer I called and ask if my system would work after having my house phone disconeted they said yea so I had it took out well the system didn't work they said I have to buy this exra piece for it to work with out my phone witch was going to cost me 250 more so I told them to forget it and now trying to make me pay for something I haven't beenable to use and the girl miss... I am another very unsatisfied, cheated, ripped off customer!! I did sign a 3 year contract and bit my tongue dealing with their incompetent customer service. i had no idea i was stuck with another year automatically. This company is extremely non military friendly! I made a mistake of signing a 3 year contract with them (I already owned a security system and only needed monitoring) and completely regret it. In June 2013, Safe Home Security acquired another home security company (LongHall) that I had used but I had canceled my contract with due to poor service in April 2013. The agreement by Long Hall was that they would discontinue service as of April 2013 but we would have to pay for the entire quarter which ended in June 2013 and that is what we reluctantly did. To whom this may concern: I was told after 7th of service from safe home I could not get an upgrade, and decided to go with another company for said reason. This company has been screwing us for 60 days and we have 34 months to go before they are through screwing us but I hope by writing this review to save someone else the same problem. The alarm they monitor doesn't work. They won't fix it. They won't respond to phone calls. They argue with us every time we call. Technician came first for just a simple signal check and messed up everything. Stayed for about 2 hours, and said before left that all is good. He messed up something on the panel that caused the defect that when you went to arm the system to away, it went directly to the siren noise, the noise that it makes when alarm goes off.
